Located in the Broadmoor Resort on the side of Cheyenne Mountain, this landscape was in need of a total renovation. The deck and driveway were in need of replacement, and our client wanted to create new outdoor living spaces and enhance their environment.
We were able to break the project into three phases.
For phase one, we re-landscaped the softscapes, providing attractive xeric landscaping, with hearty and drought tolerant plantings. We also installed colored concrete for the back patio, and concrete walks to help terrace the steep terrain around the home. We designed and installed a fireplace and outdoor kitchen in the newly created patio space.
In phase two, we addressed the driveway replacement. We removed the original concrete driveway, as well as the front walk and stoop. We poured new stamped and colored concrete, with a paver inlay, and Haddon stone coping.
During phase three, we rebuilt the deck. We used Azek composite decking and installed steel powder coated rails. We also installed a dry below decking system, so the patio under the deck stays dry during periods of rain.
As a true design/build landscape contractor, we were able to design, plan, and implement this project in phases in a manner that was fluid and prevented the need to re-work the prior phase. If we can help you with your project planning and implementation, please feel free to contact us.
