Located on a steep sloping lot, this property has outstanding views in all directions. Our pre-design meeting revealed that this home was a gathering place for extended family and friends, and they wanted to complement the existing outdoor space with a pavilion that would extend their outdoor living season.
Our design for the pavilion structure was crafted for architectural harmony with the home and with added interest and beauty. The exposed rough sawn cedar trusses provided that interest and create a visual matrix that we accented with built in LED lighting and allowed us to inconspicuously position radiant heating.
The outdoor kitchen provides a large natural gas grill and lots of prep and serving space with beautiful granite countertops as well as bar height seating along the entire length. We utilized existing patio pavers and designed an artful transition between the old and new materials to expand the usable patio space.
