Brian Bailey
Team Lead & Landscape Designer
Brian joined the Accent team in 2010.
A Colorado Springs native, Brian graduated from UCCS, and has been continuously involved in the green industry since he got his start during high school summers spent as a greenskeeper at the golf course. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, tackling home renovations, and is an avid Denver Broncos fan.
Michael Becker
Lead Landscape Designer
Michael has been a designer at Accent Landscapes since 2019
Michael is a Colorado native and has worked nationally in the landscape industry since 1980. His work has received numerous national awards for excellence in landscape design/build. He has served as a volunteer with the National Association of Landscape Professionals as Chairman of the International Certification Council, and the development task force for the Accredited Company Program. Michael holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from Colorado State University and a Master of Fine Art from Cranbrook Academy of Art. In his spare time, he enjoys home renovations, painting, sculpture, and ceramics.
Gerry Fittje
Production Supervisor
Gerry joined the Accent team in 1993.
Gerry was born and raised in Colorado Springs. For over thirty years, Gerry has enjoyed working with Accent Landscapes to create beautiful outdoor spaces of all shapes and sizes. When he’s not working, Gerry enjoys camping, hunting, and off-roading.
Juan Pineda
Foreman
Juan joined the Accent team in 2002
Juan moved to Colorado Springs and joined us shortly afterwards. Since then, he has mastered not only landscape and irrigation, but has also developed as a talented mason, carpenter, and hardscape installer. In his spare time, Juan loves to camp and fish, as well as spend time with his family.
Francisco "Pancho" Pineda
Foreman
Pancho followed his brother to Accent in 2004
Pancho committed himself to learning the trade, and has developed proficiency in all aspects of landscaping, irrigation, masonry, and hardscaping. Pancho enjoys his wonderful family in his spare time, as well as his love of horses.
Mike Short
Foreman
Mike joined the Accent team in 2013.
Mike hails from Omaha, Nebraska. Mike most enjoys the transformation involved with bringing a project to life. He moved to Colorado in 2010, drawn by the mountains and outdoor fun. When he isn’t working, Mike is a dedicated snowboarder, hiker, and off-roader.
