Enhanced Front Entry – To create a striking entryway, our craftsmen overlaid the front sidewalk, steps, and stoop with hand-cut flagstone. This premium finish complements the home’s fieldstone façade, creating a cohesive, high-end look.
Tree Preservation & Fluid Design – Every hardscape element was carefully integrated around existing trees, ensuring the protection of root systems while maintaining a natural flow through the space.
Improved Yard Access – Stone steps through an existing retaining wall enhance connectivity, providing a beautiful and functional passage from the front yard to a lower backyard gate.
Softscape for Balance & Beauty – With a significant portion of the yard dedicated to concrete and flagstone, plant selection played a vital role in softening the hardscape and framing the home's architecture. Tall, columnar evergreens provide privacy without obstructing movement, while low evergreens, ornamental grasses, and flowering shrubs bring an alpine feel and seasonal color.
Strategic Outdoor Lighting – Low-voltage lighting enhances both safety and ambiance. Fixtures guide visitors to the front door, accentuate architectural features, and create depth with uplighting on trees and a gentle wash of light over the fieldstone wall.
