Stone Crossing Outdoor Living

This landscape and outdoor living project illustrate the importance of a well thought out master plan and proper project sequencing. Our clients shared their wish list in order to create the design to meet their needs. We were then able to implement the plan for their newly built home over three phases.

Phase I began with retaining walls to form the different layers of the landscape, as well as concrete patio installation. We were careful to plan gas and electric provisions for future phases. Once the base hardscape was installed, we were able to install stone walkways, plantings, and decorative mulches.

Phase II focused on the west side of the main patio. There we were able to build a boulder fire pit, inspired by a photo our clients had taken in their travels. The fire pit was surrounded by flagstone set on a concrete base and Siloam stone seat walls. A multi-tiered water feature with underwater lighting was the other cornerstone of this phase.

Phase III completed the outdoor living experience with another flagstone patio, along with a custom deck for their new hot tub. Siloam stone walls, walkways, and plantings completed the cozy spa area.

The three phases were completed in a manner that built on one another and formed a cohesive project for this wonderful family and their friends to enjoy. Please feel free to contact us if we can be of service developing your master plan and project.
